Lifetime record: My 1st road accident

Hehe…I got into a road accident this morning. My first major accident! and worthy to be recorded in my lifetime experience. And I couldn’t wait to write about it in my blog (hehe). Seems like I’m more excited about the experience rather than being shock about it huh? Strange, but so very true.

I’m fine, thank you. Got my head stitched and going through a mild concussion now. Nothing so major enough to stop me from making a new entry now (LOL!)

I can’t really remember every sequence how the accident happened. But I do remember lapses of it. I remember trying to do a U-turn, then I heard a long haul of screeching breaks, and the next thing I know, my car have skidded to the side of the road. Passenger seat door was rammed with its mirror broken. Felt an itch on my back head, placed my hand on it and I heard myself thinking out loud: “Ooohh, I’m bleeding…”. I was lucky that a friend of mine – David, happened to be driving at the area. He must have saw me and he took me to the emergency ward.

I don’t recall walking towards David’s car, don’t recall going inside. On our way to the hospital, I do recall that I tried calling my boss to inform him that I won’t be able to make it to work today. Somehow the next thing I know, the mobile phone was already in David’s possession and he was talking to my boss about the accident. He called my parents as well. Dangerous oh kan for him to be talking while driving. Sudah lah saya baru accident. Cis. Or perhaps he was using his mobile phone to inform my boss and my parents…I really don’t know.

At the emergency ward, I got David to help me call Acai. I don’t really know how the conversation transpired, but Cai did tell me that he panicked when David told him my kepala koyak. LOL…*sigh*…it wasn’t that severe. I was bleeding on my head alright, but I think it was only a small cut. It only took the Doctor two stitches to fix it. And they wrapped my head with a bandage after that. Acai was so sweet to wait-up for me. My parents and brother arrived right after they were done stitching my head up. Went for an X-ray after that, found no further damage, got my medicine and off I went to the Police Station to make my police report, with Cai of course. My parents? Well, they saw that I wasn’t in such a bad shape, so they left – ouch…how abandoned I felt. (NAH!!!). My dad waited with me until I took my medicine (I feel so loved!). He left when we went to the police station.

Oohh, during the stitch-up I remember talking to another Doctor (I think he was a training Doctor since he was only observing). I didn’t really get to see his face then, but I thought he sounded nice – as in his voice I mean. Hehehe. We (the training Doctor and I) were actually having a conversation as the other Doc was fixing me. And I swore to you, we were actually trying to make an impression! In other words, we were flirting. HAHAHAHA!!! Really, really. He spoke with a perfect American slang! and I didn’t wanna lose out, so I followed suit. LOL!!! Sakit-sakit pun sempat be-gete bah kan! Once I was fixed, raised my head and looked at the training Doctor – *sigh* – biasa saja. I’m being very mean huh for saying that? That was it between the training Doctor and I. No mobile number exchange. LMAO!!

Anyway, back to the story on hand – making the police report. Let’s cut the story short here ya. I went there to make my report, double checked how much damage were done to my car, went back inside to talk to one of the Sergeant Police, settled matters and then we were off to my insurance agent and then back home. All the while Cai was really being a great help! But he do worry too much sometimes. He had to ask me “Redge, do you remember my name?” – DUH!! I wasn’t hit that bad to suffer from memory lost lah. But altogether: Thanks Cai, for the great help! I owe David many thanks as well.

I didn’t get to see and talk to the guy who was involved in the accident. I hope he is okay. I saw his car, and my, the condition of his Iswara is even worst. Front mirror was totally broken and his front hood was really wrecked! I’m not so sure whether his car engine was affected though. I just pray that he is okay, with no injury please.

I didn’t get to take pictures of my wrecked car. I really wanted to though. Hhhmm…if i do manage to get the shots, will be posting it here later.

Oooh, my head’s spinning mad – medication time!
