VOICE Episode 1 (Checked!)
YATAA!!! Finally! I manage to squeeze some time to watch Voice today (Ya, so much for being a Toma fan, I’m like waaayyy outdated in following this dorama). My verdict so far? I’m definitely liking it.
I think Eita is really well suited to carry on the lead role as Kaji Daiki: the thinker, the one with the inquisitive mind and the one with the imagination. As for Toma-kun, I have yet to see more of his character as Ryosuke. So far from episode 1, you could tell that Ryosuke is the easy going amongst the 5 forensic students. Flirtatious/a player? I have yet to see that one coming. Well, he did try to make an innocent pass on their assistant sensei, but nothing out of the extraordinary. I like how Ryosuke came up with Kuboaki’s nickname simply to Aki. Now Aki is the sensible one amongst them, and the only lady among them 5 students. I’m liking Hanei Akira ~ he is the one with the rough gangster image. How he got into doing forensic is interesting! It explains why he dresses the way he does ~ rugged. Ah, and not to forget, Teppei:- the final character for me to mention here. He gets to be the one who is always being pushed around by Ryosuke and intimidated by Akira. All five of them together, makes a dynamic team which makes me wanting and hoping to see more on the development of their friendship. Looking forward for the unraveling of each characters further in the coming episodes!
Based on the 1st episode alone, I’ll say VOICE is average. Although it’s not one of those dramas that gets you glued and edging for the next episode and screaming at heart “A.S.A.P PLEASE!!”, I still think it’s a good enough drama and it’s gonna be worth my time following this. Who knows, after watching the 2nd episode, I may have to take back what I said about VOICE being average. It could get better!
As for the theme song for VOICE by GReeeeN (one of my favorite group), I’m so LOVING IT!!

Glad you found time to watch Voice. I’ve watched til Episode 4 and so far not bad. I think you might like episode 4 since it’s Ryosuke related episode
