The movie is already known to focus on the cast of the show’s third season, which aired in 2008. It was previously announced that Yuya Takaki, Haruma Miura, and Yuta Tamamori are part of the main cast. At the end of last month, it was also revealed that the second season’s Kazuya Kamenashi was added to the cast.
Now, the number of returning alumni has again increased, adding three students each from the drama’s first two seasons. Oguri will represent the first season, along with Yuma Ishigaki and Hiroki Narimiya. From the second season, Hayami will be joined by Teppei Koike and Keisuke Koide.
Although all six played delinquent students in their respective seasons, they have grown up to become respectable members of society. Together with Kamenashi’s character, who has become a teacher in training, these graduates will lend their support to the beloved teacher “Yankumi,” played by starring actress Yukie Nakama. This movie is said to be Nakama’s last time to take on this role.
Filming for the movie finished on May 13. The picture opens in theaters on July 11.

aiseh… so the movie is on the way and I am yet to start watching any season of Gokusen. Am I eligible to ramble along since I just read the manga version?? hahahah….

Wah, you reading the manga is even more awesome! I’ve always wondered whether MatsuJun managed to portray the Sawada Shin from the manga, cause I really liked his character in the drama. Ya lor, no Shin-kun in the Movie. Macam tidak complete pula oh kan?

Found out that in the manga SP Yankumi is finally returning Shin’s feeling. Aww.. that would be so sweet ne. But somehow when I saw the movie trailer, it looks like Odagiri probably taking over Shin’s place, no? Well, just my assumption anyway.
Odagiri Joe? Majides? I liked him in Tokyo Tower and all, but then him as Sawada Shin? Huh? If this truly happens I can’t say that I’m not disappointed…

Kame’s role as Odagiri Ryu. Correct me if I’m wrong, but supposedly in the manga Shin is the one who comes back as a teacher and not Odagiri. But whoever it is, I’ll accept it with open heart. Although if Shin does make appearance in the movie it would be cool.

I hope that MatsuJun wont dissapoint me too ^^. anyway, for me.. Shin-kun’s character is a main role in Gokusen beside Yankumi. Gokusen won’t be Gokusen without Sawada Shin (totally in LOVE with that character..><). But then again, I'm just reading the manga. hohoho!!! I'll try to be natural with my expectation (^^!)
OMG!!! This is such a wonderful news to me. Too bad Shin is not in the movie, but it’s good to have Uchi, Noda and Minami on board *luv*. And together with Hyuga, Tsuchiya and Takeda.. And Odagiri. OMG!! I’m super excited. So Yuta Tamamori appears again in the movie eh, I think he’s kinda okay in the Gokusen 3 SP.
Can’t wait to see the movie. The excitement is killing me.

Loved Season 1 & 2… Season 3 was just blahhhhhh didn’t like the cast at all other then of course Yankumi.Wish Matsujun was in the movie but I’ll take Shun Oguri and Mocomichi too!!!!!
I’m eager to see how Uchi’s character turns out to be after ‘graduating’. *Tehee*. excited-excited-EXCITED!! Let’s hope there is a mention of Shin. Just a mention will do, if not a glimpse of him.
