Ikuta Toma’s first movie role and Hideaki Takizawa’s come back to the dorama scene!

That’s one long title for a post huh?

N’way, I’m just excited to hear this news for Toma. What news? *Tehee* He will be getting his 1st role in the silver screen that will be based on a novel by Osamu Dazai, entitled: “Ningen Shikkaku” ["No Longer Human" in the english translation].

I think the movie is gonna be dark and depressing since Toma’s role is going to be of someone who doesn’t adapt well into the society and gets into more trouble with boozes and women and eventually commits suicide. I will be looking forward for this in 2010! I wonder what is Yamapi’s thought on this. He must be very happy for Toma ne? Speaking of which, Yamapi have a new dorama this summer about being a basketball player. More from here.

And now, the talk about Hideaki Takizawa’s come back into the dorama scene. FINALLY!!! His last dorama that I watched (and tanpatsu doesn’t count ya), was his 2005 Boku Dake no Madonna

But let’s not divert from the real story here. The title of this renzoku is Orthros no Inu, in which Takki will be playing along side Nishikido Ryo!!

I’m really excited to watch Takki doing a dorama again but frankly speaking, I am also excited about the fact that Ryo will be in it as well. I’m surprisingly amazed at myself for being gleefully happy about Ryo. I was never a fan of his work before this, but perhaps I have found my liking in him as an actor after Ryusei no Kizuna. Here’s something interesting that I’ve extracted from an LJ blog: Even though they both belong to Johnny’s, this is the first time they will be co-starring together. Hideaki Takizawa says “It’s very rare to have a co-star who is also from Johnny’s. I look forward to acting together with Nishikido-kun.” Nishikido Ryo respectfully (yes this is what is stated in the article XD ) says “Takizawa-kun is a senpai with a lot of charisma, I have always admired him.

I’m hoping Orthros no Inu and Buzzer Beat~Gakepucchi no Hero will be a good diversion for me after AtaDan comes to its’ finale episode next week. In the meantime, I guess I’ll continue catching up with Smile, Majo Saiban and Mr. Brain.

P/S: Nanka, that picture of Ryo and Takki up there somehow reminds me of Maou. Wouldn’t you agree with me?
