Ooh-ooh, just had to say this before I go, that Oguri Shun have really matured from his days in Gokusen to HanaDan to HanaKimi to Kisaragi to Binbo Danshi to Crows Zero to Tajomaru to Smile and now Tokyo Dogs…(and compare that to his younger ‘kid’ years in GTO and Summer Snow!) – he is a WOW-er!!

Uno Fog Bar CM in HD:

This is as crazy as I can get over a CM. Man, their marketing gimmick really works!! And now I can’t help but think of Uno Fog Bar whenever I hear the word “shu–” . It’s already embedded in my head.

Gosh, I went all crazy for this CM!! How can I not? It features 4 unbelievably hard to resists ‘IT’ guys of Tokyo! How often can you get this in a CM? Well, apart from all those CM’s by Arashi that is.

C’mon someone out there must agree with me on this? (Rina-chan? Baby-D? Rainerust? Rae?). And to add to my reason why I’m liking this CM very much is because these 4 uber-kakkoi guys are actually potraying The Beatles!! Ooh, my favorite!! They simply look irresistable in this CM!

And of course, Shun would be my favoite among these four. *Tehee*!

My 2 cents worth on the 9th Episode on todays’ date: 9th Sept 2009 ~ just making use of the opportunity . Its a good number you know (9090909)…well at least I think so too. I’m beating around the bush, lets just get back to the story in hand.

Episode 9 was actually okay ~ at first. Continuation from ep.8, when Natsuki begged Naoki not to leave her, he took hold of her hand, turn around to tell her that he needs to leave because he had someone to see. (Hehe, I had my evil grin meant for Natsuki then). Won’t go so much into details here, but Natsuki is still very much scheming in this episode. I can tell you that much. Scenes that made my heart at rest (after that ending at ep.8):- Naoki got to eat that French-Toast Riko made for him

But then again, this happy scene was short-lived after Riko got a call from that conniving Natsuki.

I’ll skip immediately to to scene where Natsuki finally revealed her true colors to Riko (you can find what’s their confrontation all about here)

I love Mai for backing Riko up during this scene The best part for me was when Mai said to Natsuki’s face what a pitiful/ pathetic of a woman she is for doing what she’s best at – being a Medusa of a women! (well, Mai did not really say that). HAH! serves Natsuki right ~ at heart I was already saying EAT THAT YOU SLY SNAKE!

This next cap is when Naoki-Riko had a fall out. And of course it has got something to do with what Natsuki said to Riko earlier and also something to do with that fight Naoki had with Yoyogi in the locker room:

Demo ne, at the same time, I cannot help but feel a tad disappointed with Riko for letting herself be swayed with what Natsuki said. *Sigh* I guess there’s no helping to that when Riko felt that Naoki hasn’t been that ALL honest to her.

I was hopeful with the flow of Ep.9 when Natsuki was about to say something to Naoki, (probably trying to tell him that she still have strong feelings for him), Naoki just cut her short by telling her that he already have someone important to him. Natsuki’s response “Shirakawa?” and Naoki nodded to that, yadaa yadaa to Natsuki and walked away from her (for the second time in this episode alone!! YES!!)

—> at this scene, I practically did the 360 hand-move dance ~ oh scratch that. I was smiling gleefully to my hearts content! Another “Attaboy Naoki!!” moment for me. Aahh, I was so happy for Riko when this happened!

However in Riko’s place, Kawasaki-san showed up right at her door upon returning from Boston. Riko came out with her honest feelings right then and told Kawasaki that she is in love with Naoki ~ thus why she cannot accept his ring. Although he took it the ‘manly’ way.

And you think we can have our happily ever after ending after this?? Hah!! Don’t be too happy just too soon (like I did). When Kawasaki wished Riko happiness, she actually tried to hide her tears at first, but ended-up crying. Obviously she was disturbed over the rift she had with Naoki at South Park earlier on. That only made Kawasaki’s heart weakened and he hugged her to give her a shoulder to cry on. When Riko pulled back from Kawasaki, that’s when Kawasaki grabbed hold of Riko again and gave her a further tight hug…

Next scene showed a determined Naoki riding his bicycle, over to see Riko with the good news, unknowingly to him the current situation he’s about to face …

…and episode 9 ended right there and then!!! Aarrggghhh!!!

And that leaves us audience wondering whether Naoki will see that very tight hug between Kawasaki and Riko. How will he react to that? Might he get the wrong idea altogether? Or what will Kawasaki do after seeing Riko cry like that? Aarghh!! What a cliff hanger!

Preview of Ep.10 actually showed us Naoki saying goodbye to Riko. Ehh??!!! Will this really be the start to their end?? And Noaki going for his ankle operation after all…with Natsuki hovering behind…another “Ehh??!!”

So far, I have been very patient with Natsuki’s attitude, but at episode 8 she made me blew my lid! and in full swing too! One word to describe my sentiment for her now ~ DAIKIRAI! I have had it with her up till here. Gosh!! She is so conniving in this episode! If there is one thing I hate the most is a person who pretends to be a friend and yet lo, she have a different agenda altogether. What a two faced B***H! There, I said it.

Now I understand what Pi meant when he wrote in his mobile dairy that episode 8 is suppose to be a happy episode but what is Natsuki doing?? I have to agree with him. The episode somehow left me with an uneasy feeling.

What the HELL is Natsuki doing! Okay, lets’do a bit of a recap from the earlier episodes. First episode, Natsuki knowingly cheated on Naoki by sleeping with Yoyogi Ren, and then went to Naoki’s house the next day and did her usual facade infront of Naoki’s okasan and imouto that she is this oh-so-nice-and-perfect lady and who is oh-so-right girlfriend for Naoki.  And the next-next following episode she selfishly complained to Naoki that’s she’s tired of him forever saying to her that he is doing his best (in his career as a basketball player) in order to be a better man for her. That’s not what she wanted she complained, what she needed is some excitement in their relationship. *Pluughh*. And because of this arguement they had, she cheated on him AGAIN, and this time around, it was in her apartment. I was already annoyed with her then, but refrained from calling her any names. And then Naoki broke-up with her. Thank gawd.

And then come episode 7, when I was finally screaming and jumping with excitement over Naoki and Riko getting together, rejoicing over the fact that Naoki is not that stoic of a person afterall; just when I’m starting to continue with this elated feeling over Naoki and Riko at the beginning of episode 8 ~ JENG! JENG! JENG!!! Here comes Natsuki being the Medusa of a women yet again – as in being very-very sly and hissing poisonous words, by pretending to be all friendly to Riko and purposedly saying all those things about Naoki just to spite Riko. B***H!!! And now she wants Naoki back?! Stupid of a women. She understoodly and carelessly spilt her own milk, and now she wants to lick all of it back!! HEllo!! Wake-up and smell the coffee woman, Naoki is happy with someone else now.

*Sigh* I just hope Naoki doesn’t choose to be a stupid of a man and choose to go back with Natsuki and ends-up hurting Riko-chan. Yaadaa, I hate this feeling. I was never good with dealing with this kind of anticipation. It disturbs me just to think that final scene when while Natsuki was hugging Naoki on the waist from behind, crying her ‘crocodile tears’ asking Naoki not to go; Naoki was somewhat ‘moved’ by it and decided to hold her hand back. Aarrggghhh!!! NOOOOO…. I don’t want them to get back together!!! Zettai Dekinai! I hope Naoki only meant to console Natsuki when he held her hand.

Btw, begining part of Episode 8 made my heart go all warm and again, I went all giddy – just like a school girl who got her first kiss by her first crush. Ehehe…*giggles*…maybe I’m getting too carried away, but oh well, I’m a sucker for romantic moments as such. Ooh, and there was this scene in Naoki’s room when he was smiling to himself silly being ever so happy that he finally called Riko by her first name . He was infact giggling to himself and did that sorta’ child-like playful kick, that he was so energised by the thought of it he did push-ups thereafter. Aaww, that was so cute coming from him. But still, the scene in Riko’s room was the best! Them cuddling was suhweeet! Maa, they look like they belong to each other. *sigh* I’m grinning myself silly again at the recollection of it. Geez, I need to get a grip of myself…ehehehe…

I’m already happy to see him acting along side Hideaki Takizawa in Orthos, and now I have this SP to feast my eyes more on Ryo-chan. *Hehe*. Yup, I’m a fan of his works, especially when he is acting. I have to say, Ryo-chan’s ability and skills as an actor is the best if compared to his other band-mates, Yamashita included (News and Kanjani8 fans are gonna lash on me for saying that ) . C’mon you guys have to agree with me on this that Ryo-chan is a versatile actor and he is so good in showing his emotions (as compared to another person which I’m not gonna say his name or I will not just get lashed at but bashed as well).

Ryosuke Yamada of HSJ gets to play his younger brother in this SP. Ooh, Rin-chan, just so that you have a gist what’s this SP about, Ryo-chan is playing the character of Keisuke Kawai who gets diagnosed with a brain tumor.You can read the rest of the synopis here

Tekkon Kinkreet is a 2006 movie anime that I have not manage to watch just yet, sad to say . But it’s definitely in my top-list to watch a.s.a.p -

Here’s a short synopsis I’ve extracted from one of my favorite reviewer Gretchen Lee:

Based on the manga by Taiyo Matsumoto, the film follows two orphans, Black and White, as they scrape by in a run-down section of the city called Treasure Town.  Like any decent place that’s on the wrong side of the tracks, Treasure Town is ruled by yakuza and boasts all manner of unsavory sorts, from street thugs to the ladies at the local strip joint.  Black and White do well enough for themselves, picking pockets and scaring off the competition.

Black, the elder of the duo, is tough, streetwise, and convinced that Treasure Town belongs to him.  He’s fiercely protective of White, whose sweetness and purity is very rare indeed in such a dark place.  White lives inside his own imagination, clinging to the hope that one day they’ll build a house by the sea.  While Black looks after White, White’s optimism and cheerfulness protect Black from succumbing to the hopelessness and rage of living a life with no options and no real future.  Black and white, yin and yang, the two balance each other out, and one can hardly exist without the other.

After an indeterminate absence, yakuza reassert their presence in Treasure Town, and strike a deal with a developer to raze the district to make way for an enormous amusement park.  The developer, who is very shady and more than a little disturbing, uses the yakuza to eliminate any elements who might object to the plan.  This includes Black, who makes his objections known when he attacks the yakuza offices after learning about the impending demise of his home.

Soon, the boys find themselves hunted by assassins, leading to a game of cat and mouse that ultimately tests the boys’ dependence on each other.

Listen carefully during [0:30] of the video. Recognized that voice? Any Arashi fan would immediately notice it. Nope? Rewind. Listen well. Got it?

Yup, that’s Nino’s voice alright!! *Tehee* that’s partly why I’m excited about this anime.

Here’s a review. Tekkon comes short on overall development its says? But then again here’s another review, and this is yet another one. I guess I’ll go with the later two reviews *tehee*. Kinda biased – myself I mean. But oh well, I’m already liking what shorts scenes I’ve seen so far in youtube, I’m already digging the OST – ’nuff said.
